Drywalks Care Guide

Our coats are built to last. To preserve your Drywalks coat we recommend washing and reproofing at least 2/3 times a year. See full care guide below.

To maintain your Drywalks coat waterproof outer, we recommend using a spray-on reproof and following the instructions on the bottle. Ensure you pay special attention to all the seams and stitching.

Please note: You must reproof your Drywalks coat every time you wash it to maintain its waterproof protection.

Fully machine washable

Fully machine washable up to 30 degrees but we recommend to preserve its waterproof properties that you avoid washing it too often. Never use biological washing powder/liquid or fabric softener/conditioner.

Mud friendly

When needs be just give it a wipe down (or even a hose down) with a damp cloth. We all function better with a bit of mud on us so don’t be too precious.

Avoid direct heat & Sunlight

Don’t dry clean, hot wash, tumble dry or place your Drywalks coat on/above a direct heat source.

Reproofing

We recommend washing and reproofing Drywalks coats with a reproofing product at least 2/3 times a year. Follow the instructions carefully.

To get the best out of your Drywalks coat we recommend washing with Nikwax Rug, Tent or Tech wash product and following their washing instructions below.

Step 2

Gently brush off any mud, rinse off any thick dirt by hand, or for stubborn stains apply some of the Tech Wash directly onto the garment with a sponge before washing.

Step 3

Fasten all zips and velcro and place in the machine.

Step 4

Shake bottle and pour the entire 300ml of the liquid into the washing machine drawer. You must use the full bottle due to the size of the coats.

We recommend spinning the coat twice to ensure all excess water is removed. You will then need to hang the coat on a hanger to dry (we recommend doing do over a shower or bath).

Step 7

Use a spray on reproof product ensuring the coat and all seams are fully coated.
